East of Edmonton on Highway 16 is the charming town of Mundare. This Community has been increasing in size with the population in 2009 at 823; this is an increase of 15% from 2006. Population in 2011 is recorded at 855.
The main street rehabilitation makes the the town look better and better: new sidewalks, street lights, hanging planters and the elm trees that were planted create a beautiful setting for residents and visitors alike.
